Country music powerhouse Travis Tritt has had seven platinum albums and five number one hits. Performing alone with only a guitar and vocals, the show will emphasize Tritt's soulful vocals, influenced by blues and Southern rock. The two-time Grammy winner has charted more than 30 singles on the U.S. Billboard charts, including five number ones.
The City of Wauchula will be hosting a guided tour of Peace River Park. The tour is open to the public and will be free of charge. Sturdy walking shoes, sunscreen and water are recommended. The tour will start at 9 a.m.

Hardee County 2011 PREVIEW SHOW
Cattle Show enthusiasts from 21 Florida counties filled the Cattlemen’s Arena in Wauchula, FL, on December 10-11, to participate in the 2011 Hardee County Preview Show. The family-friendly event, sponsored by Peace River Electric Cooperative, attracted nearly 240 head of cattle and provided stiff competition among the more than 165 exhibitors.....
Texas Hold em' Fundraiser
A Saturday night of fun at where else the Bowl Of Fun Lanes in Wauchula. Texas Hold Em' is what it's called the BOFL has monthly tournament in the BOFL Lounge which makes for a great place for the tournaments. Theirs hot food, drinks, music and cable TV's all over for those who wanted to watch the game as well. Tonight's tournament brought some 40 plus people out to try their luck at Texas Hold em' and why not with great prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd places of Visa girft cards. 1st place payout was......

This was not just another Sunday afternoon, the circus is in town so let's head out to the Cattlemen's Arena to see the elephants. If you like the circus the clowns and animals well the Cattlemen's arena was the place to be this afternoon. Circus Pages circus had the clowns,elephants, horses and more. Circus Pages was only in town one day for two shows 1pm and 4pm we made the 4pm show, we saw the elephants do tricks, the clown in action, acrobats, and death defying tricks. At intermission people had the opportunity to ride the elephants....
